    Westchester Public Library invites the public to attend the presentation Rajasthan India: 30 Years to the Present on Wednesday, January 24, from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Thomas Branch Bertha Wood Room. This educational presentation will be given by Joy Marburger, Ph.D., Botanist and Environmental Scientist.   3. History of Mineral Springs Race Track Presentation by Museum Curator Serena Ard

    The Westchester Township History Museum invites the public to learn more about the Porter race track on Saturday, January 27, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Porter’s Mineral Springs Race Track was short-lived but very lively in that short time. It was ultimately shut down by the governor of Indiana for gambling...twice. Museum Curator, Serena Ard, will present the story of the track and the lingering questions about why alleged gambling was stifled in Porter but allowed to flourish in French Lick.

    Westchester Public Library invites kids to get creative with their culinary skills! Children ages 8-12 are encouraged to join us for an Iron Chef Junior evening of creating delicious dishes from our supply of ingredients...including one SPECIAL ingredient that all chefs must include in their dishes. This event will take place on Wednesday, January 31 from 6-7 p.m. in the Bertha Wood room at the Thomas Branch.
