How do I rent a park shelter?: Park shelters can be rented on a first come, first serve basis at the Chesterton Municipal Complex located at 1490 Broadway. The business hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. The applicable fee must be paid in full for the reservation to be processed. We currently accept cash and check only. To check availability, please contact the office at 219-926-3000.

2. Is the splash pad open?: The splash pad at Chesterton Park is open from 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. daily from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Please note these hours are subject to change due to unforeseen maintenance issues. Please give us a call at 219-926-3000 to check on the status of the splash pad or follow our Facebook Page for updates.

3. How do I get my name on a paver stone in Thomas Centennial Park?: The Park Department has the order forms available at their office and the paver stones are $35 each.
